A wonderful autumn in Seefeld

Autumn

Time to take a deep breath

Colourful forests, golden light

When the forests take on their autumnal colours and the light falls golden over the peaks, the quietest time of the year begins in Seefeld too.

Autumn at 1,200 metres

Golden days on the high plateau

At 1,200 metres, Seefeld is often above the fog: whilst autumn turns grey down in the valley, the sun is still shining up here.

Colourful forests, crisp mountain air and fewer crowds than in summer: autumn is perhaps the most beautiful season here. Ideal for walks, bike rides or a relaxing round of golf.

A tip before you go: depending on the weather, many alpine pastures and huts close for the season as early as autumn – it’s worth checking the current opening times before setting off.
